Emily A. Clark: A "Pretty" Solution to the Ceiling Fan?

Emily A. Clark: A "Pretty" Solution to the Ceiling Fan?

We ordered this fan after Amy saw it in the store. It says you can get it in 5 days. Today makes 7 days, and still no fan... But we love it, and it will work great in our new dining room.

Vegas Golf

In November we went to Vegas with Amy's Parents, and I got to play in the Annual Guide Dogs of America Golf Scramble with Tim.
This my favorite shot from that day.

I liked it so much in fact, I tried to show it to a blind guy... I was so embarrassed!!!

2009 Lake Trip

Michael & I went to the Lake of the Ozarks this year with some friends & had a blast.
I sported a fu-man-chu for the day on the boat.

2009 Brickyard 400

Amy & I went to the Brickyard 400 with our friends Dan & Christy this year, and it was a blast. Amy & I got her favorite driver's autograph, and our seats were excellent as usual.

Clark Sunrise

This was shot one morning in June when I was on my way to work.
I was driving under the Clark Bridge on the MO side & saw the sun peaking thru the bridge structure.

Wow, I didn't realize I had not posted here since June. I have a lot of pictures to post, and I will get right on that tomorrow.

Sun Set on Faith Fellowship

On the same night I was shooting the sunset below, I happened to wonder what sunset looked like at our Church. I pulled up and was amazed at what I saw. It's just so pretty. They had just finished doing some of the landscaping you can see in front of the building that week, and it was my first time seeing it.
In the back, you can see those storm clouds rolling away.

Sun Set over Godfrey

On a stormy evening (yes it was stormy) I went out to capture some of the storm clouds, but once again, I was captivated by the images of the sunset.

I believe this is the old Mead Packaging plant, but I'm not really sure.
This tree is in a Church parking-lot off Humbert Rd, and provided a couple nice shots of the sun through it's branches.

Spring Tulips near Bunge

In the spring, our office complex always plants beautiful tulips around the corners of the entries to the parking lots. I just had to get some shots, and a few turned out great.

This one I liked in particular, so I edited it in Paint.net, and I now have it hanging in my Office.
It's simply titled...

Purple

Ducks @ the Park

As I was shooting the waterfall, I came across a couple Ducks, so I figured I'd get a couple shots while I could. They were fun to shoot.

Creve Couer Park Waterfall

In April I went to the park & got some shots of the waterfall during lunch.

The Anatomy of the Swing

Our Nephew Ben just turned 4 last month, but here he is 3 on Easter hitting a ball in my Parent's front yard.

This shot was just a cool shot of his little plastic bat going so fast. It looks like he mised the ball, but in fact it went pretty far.

By the way...

For some reason today I am able to upload pics to this blog from work. Normally I cannot, so look for a few posts today. :-)

Cool Clock Edit I did

My mom gave me this clock for Christmas a few years back, and it hangs in my cube. I was playing with the camera, back in April, and decided to take a couple pics of it, and play in paitn.net. Paint.net is a free photo editing software that is very similar to photoshop.

Anywho... here is the original shot

And here is the final edit. I had this as my wallpaper for a while. Pretty cool, nothing fnacy, just fun.

Alton Board Fantasy Baseball Draft Party

Toby Hejna, the host with the most! (he was a very good boy)
Emily Hejna, the hostess with the mostest, is making a pick for Alison.
Everyone is busy studying their pics, and eating the wonderful food!
The commish taking in a little 312. Yummmmy!
The Draft Board, only half way thru. (two hours to go...)

Graffiti in Alton

Our Graffiti artists use the good stuff!! Rustoleum.

I like the Peace Sign here.
Just an interesting shot.
This tag is all over the Riverbend Area.

Old Signs in Alton

This Sears Sign is pretty old. I found it on 4th street downtown.
Must have been a back entrance to the store.
The Jacobys light still shines bright.
A view of Broadway with Jacobys, and the Wedge Building.
